Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Victorious

Berean Christian took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Acalanes, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Dons 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Berean Christian was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (105-101), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 29-27, 25-22, 13-25, 15-6.

Berean Christian found their leader in sophomore Anna McCombe, who had 47 assists and 11 digs. Those 47 assists set a new season-high mark for McCombe.

Berean Christian's record now sits at 12-15. As for Acalanes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

As of now, neither Berean Christian nor the Dons have any future games scheduled.
