Volleyball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Otterville Eagles. The Greyhounds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Windsor started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Windsor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aubrie Heany had 15 digs and three aces. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Heany.

Windsor now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Otterville, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Windsor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Lakeland on the 24th. Otterville has also already played their next game (against Prairie Home), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
