Softball Recap: BVCHEA HomeSchool Comes Up Short

The BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs didn't have quite enough to beat Varsity Opponent on Friday and fell 17-16. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (13), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Kaylee Crump was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Mary Kingsbury was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

BVCHEA HomeSchool has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.

BVCHEA HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-4 loss against New Braunfels Thunder on the 25th. Varsity Opponent has also already played their next contest (against Lutheran North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
