Volleyball Game Preview: Gaston Christian Eagles vs. Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors

Gaston Christian hasn't had much luck against Metrolina Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will head out to face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Gaston Christian came up short against Hickory Christian Academy and fell 3-1.

Gaston Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-18, 25-15, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Metrolina Christian Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.

Gaston Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Gaston Christian beat Metrolina Christian Academy 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
