Basketball Recap: Schaeffer Academy Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Houston, Schaeffer Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 70-66 win over the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Schaeffer Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Schaeffer Academy will head out to square off against Glenville-Emmons at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. LeRoy-Ostrander will take on Grand Meadow in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
