Lexington faced Powdersville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wildcats skirted past the Patriots 1-0. Winning may never get old, but Lexington sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Powdersville, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-3.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Swansea on the 1st. Powdersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
