Softball Recap: Casa Grande Takes a Loss

Casa Grande lost against Canyon del Oro last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 10-0 to the Dorados. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Casa Grande saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cierah Mendez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Casa Grande's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Canyon del Oro, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Casa Grande will take on Mountain View at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Canyon del Oro, they will square off against Centennial at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dorados 0.7, the Bulldogs 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
