Norwood extended the longest winning streak in Southern Buckeye - American this week by beating Williamsburg, 43-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Norwood took down the Wildcats 43-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Devin Wood put up the best numbers through the air as Western Brown fell to Batavia. He finished with 17 completions for 255 yards and three touchdowns. Wood's favorite target this week was Caden Piatt, who caught four passes for 62 yards.
Mike Davis was the best wideout in the league this week as Goshen lost to Blanchester. Davis racked up four receptions for 89 yards. Nick Brown helped Goshen's passing attack out by catching two balls for 80 yards.
Dimitri Foreman made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Warriors fell to the Wildcats. The 6-foot-0 senior recorded two fumbles.
Jake Nelson was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 68 yards on 13 carries as Goshen lost to Blanchester. Teammate Steve Morris added to the ground attack by rushing for 50 yards.
The Broncos' Wood and Christian Dawson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Southern Buckeye - American in both passing and receiving yards. Wood has thrown for 2541 yards this season, while Dawson, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 41 catches for 838 yards. Mark Slagle's team's Marcus Casey leads the league in rushing yards with 1123.
