Volleyball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Plano West Wolves, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Princeton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Plano West's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-2, 25-5, 25-10.

Tito Abiba paced Princeton's offense, picking up five kills. Abiba got some help from Meghan Gilbert and her five assists.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Plano West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Coincidentally, Princeton and Plano West will both be playing Prosper the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
