Softball Preview: Winter Springs Bears vs. Lyman Greyhounds

Meanwhile, everything went Lyman's way against Master's Academy on Thursday as Lyman made off with an 11-2 win. With that victory, Lyman brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Emma Chauncey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.

At the plate, Lyman got a big performance out of Lilly Clark, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Ava Campanale, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
