Karns City has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Keystone recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. Karns City will square off against Keystone at 4:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Karns City has three straight  wins, Keystone has five straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Karns City got the win against Westville  by a conclusive  17-2.

 Jacob Jones made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Jones was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Tyler Kelly was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brock Dittman, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Karns City was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .343 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Keystone kicked off their season on the road  on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Moniteau by a score of  4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Chaz Renninger put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. Renninger was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Aidan Tharan was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases.  Drew Keth was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Karns City's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Keystone, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Everything went Karns City's way against Keystone in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, as Karns City made off with  a  10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Karns City since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
