Baseball Game Preview: Pender Patriots vs. James Kenan Tigers

The Pender Patriots will take on the James Kenan Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pender lost 18-2 to East Columbus on Friday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pender saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mark Rawls, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Rawls also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for James Kenan's offense. They came up short against Wallace-Rose Hill on Thursday, falling 7-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pender now has a losing record of 2-3. As for James Kenan, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
