Basketball Game Preview: Clover Garden School Grizzlies vs. Triangle Math & Science Tigers

The Clover Garden School Grizzlies are taking a road trip to face off against the Triangle Math & Science Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Clover Garden School came up short against Woods Charter and fell 46-33. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Triangle Math & Science sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 win over Ascend Leadership on Friday.

Clover Garden School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Triangle Math & Science, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12.

Clover Garden School came up short against Triangle Math & Science in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 51-40. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Triangle Math & Science's Ahmed Omer, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven assists and six boards.
