Volleyball Recap: Natchitoches Central Takes a Loss

Natchitoches Central entered their match against Byrd on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Chiefs fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Natchitoches Central's defeat dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Byrd, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Natchitoches Central will take on Booker T. Washington-Shreveport at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Byrd, they will head out to square off against Calvary Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
