Baseball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur fell victim to Taylorville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Tornadoes, falling 19-0. The loss continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Tornadoes: they've now lost five in a row.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Taylorville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-11.

Coming up, MacArthur will host Lanphier at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylorville, they will challenge Mt. Zion at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
