Northern Lakes recap Oct. 23, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Plymouth, who took down 93rd ranked Plymouth, 17-13.
NorthWood moved up to 103 from 137 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northern Lakes. The Panthers were able to make move up by beating the Pilgrims 17-13.
Warsaw's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Head has thrown for 370 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Taylor Cone has 33 catches for 440 yards. Tristan McClone leads the league in rushing with 1563 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Concord takes on Northridge. The Minutemen are currently in first, while the Raiders are in seventh.
Wawasee extended the longest winning streak in Northern Lakes this week by beating DeKalb, 27-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
