Basketball Recap: Payton Blue's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Eisenhower over Salina Central

Eisenhower lost against Salina Central back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eisenhower Tigers fell 54-46 to the Salina Central Mustangs.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Payton Blue, who posted 13 points. Blue continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmarie Barger, who had 11 points and six boards.

Eisenhower's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Salina Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Eisenhower wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-38 defeat against Andover on the 21st. As for Salina Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-37 win against Goddard on the 21st.
