Basketball Recap: Valley Forge Military Academy's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After losing to Jenkintown the last time they met, Valley Forge Military Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans secured a 44-39 W over the Jenkintown Drakes on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Jenkintown lost, don't look at Angel Rivera. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 11 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Rivera a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Ecker, who posted six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
