Basketball Recap: Kingdom Prep Lutheran Takes a Loss

Kingdom Prep Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 93-68 to the St. Francis Mariners. The Wolfpack were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mariners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

St. Francis got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Green out in front who went 10 for 15 on his way to 25 points in addition to five assists and four steals. That's the most steals Green has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dai'Lend Jett, who went 10 of 19 en route to 23 points and five rebounds.

Kingdom Prep Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for St. Francis, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

Kingdom Prep Lutheran has already played their next contest (against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Francis will square off against Catholic Central at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
