Softball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo lost against Mount Horeb back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates lost 9-2 to the Vikings.

Waterloo has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Mount Horeb, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterloo will welcome Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Horeb, they will take on Platteville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
