Baseball Game Preview: East Catholic Eagles vs. Tolland Eagles

East Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Tolland at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in East Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.

While East Catholic didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Manchester by a score of 10-5 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Tolland lost 13-5 to Glastonbury on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christian Steiner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Tolland's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for East Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
