Basketball Recap: Raleigh Charter's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Raleigh Charter got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Falls Lake Firebirds on Friday by a score of 39-37 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win was a breath of fresh air for the Phoenix as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Raleigh Charter's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Falls Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Raleigh Charter will venture away from home to square off against Wake Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Falls Lake, they will welcome Research Triangle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
