Softball Recap: Natchitoches Central Comes Up Short

Natchitoches Central came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against West Ouachita, falling 10-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Ouachita this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 on Saturday.

Natchitoches Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for West Ouachita, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Natchitoches Central will challenge Airline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Chiefs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for West Ouachita, they will square off against Calvary Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
