Volleyball Game Preview: Christian Academy Eagles vs. Dominion Academy Sabers

Christian Academy and Dominion Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Eagles will face off against the Sabers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Christian Academy has three straight wins, Dominion Academy has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Christian Academy made easy work of Germantown Christian and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Dominion Academy came up short against Hillsboro Christian Academy on Monday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-8, 25-10.

The win got Christian Academy back to even at 8-8. As for Dominion Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Christian Academy beat Dominion Academy 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sabers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
