After a string of 13 wins, Poly's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against the Rancho Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered since August 26th.

Despite the loss, Poly still got an impressive performance from Katelyn Brayton, who had 12 digs and two assists. Brayton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Poly's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 18-6. As for Rancho Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Poly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Liberty on the 24th. As for Rancho Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Arlington on the 22nd.
