Baseball Game Preview: Pequea Valley Braves vs. Biglerville Canners

The Pequea Valley Braves will take on the Biglerville Canners at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Pequea Valley 3.7, Biglerville 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Monday, Pequea Valley beat Lancaster Mennonite 5-2.

Coleston Temple was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Herr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Biglerville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 6-0 to Bermudian Springs. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Canners' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Biglerville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Pequea Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Everything went Pequea Valley's way against Biglerville in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Pequea Valley made off with a 13-7 victory. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Canners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
