Football Game Preview: River City Christian vs. Atonement Academy

Atonement Academy will look to defend their home turf on Friday against River City Christian at 7:30 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-59, which was the final score in Atonement Academy's tilt against WINGS Homeschool Athletics last Saturday. Atonement Academy's defeat came about despite a quality game from Gabriel Prochko, who rushed for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, River City Christian had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were given a punishing 0-45 loss at the hands of Brigade of St. Michael the Archangel. River City Christian were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-32.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
