 Franklin Road Academy can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Montgomery Bell Academy Big Red out  4-3.
  Hayden Waller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on eight hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Bradley Schmoke, who  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Nicholas Potts, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Franklin Road Academy's win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-8. As for Montgomery Bell Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Road Academy will  face off against The Webb School at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Montgomery Bell Academy, they will  square off against Father Ryan at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Father Ryan will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Montgomery Bell Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
