Volleyball Recap: Marquette's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Marquette had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Parkway South Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

Leading Marquette to victory were Brody Knittel and Tristan Chambliss. Knittel had 12 assists and four digs, while Chambliss had six digs and one assist. That's the most digs Chambliss has posted over his last six matchups.

Marquette's victory bumped their record up to 27-9. As for Parkway South, their loss dropped their record down to 20-13.

Looking ahead, Marquette will head out to challenge Lafayette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkway South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
