After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Old Mill, Dulaney was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Franklin Indians 7-1. With that victory, Dulaney brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
Connor Dow tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Maddox Helme, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Park, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
