Softball Game Preview: Stuarts Draft Cougars vs. Central Woodstock Falcons

The Stuarts Draft Cougars will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Central Woodstock Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Stuarts Draft is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Page County on Thursday, falling 13-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Stuarts Draft saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddy Miller, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Central Woodstock gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Riverheads. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Gladiators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
