The Resurrection Bandits will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Jones Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Resurrection is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Resurrection ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Montini Catholic.
Grace Dorgan spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits.
