Soccer Recap: Swain County Takes a Loss

Swain County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Blue Ridge Early College this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Swain County's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-2. As for Blue Ridge Early College, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Swain County is set to challenge their familiar foe Hayesville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Blue Ridge Early College will square off against rival Summit Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
