East St. John is 8-2 against Central Lafourche since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The East St. John Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Central Lafourche Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when East St. John challenged Thibodaux on Tuesday. East St. John received a blow as they fell 57-43 to Thibodaux.

Meanwhile, Central Lafourche came up short against Thibodaux on Friday and fell 73-63. Even if the Trojans couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

East St. John's loss dropped their record down to 20-22. As for Central Lafourche, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-29.

East St. John was able to grind out a solid victory over Central Lafourche when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 60-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for East St. John since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
