Columbiana has gone 8-2 against United recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Columbiana Clippers will venture away from home to challenge the United Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Columbiana has six straight victories, United has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, Columbiana was able to grind out a solid win over Lowellville, taking the game 76-64. Given the Clippers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Rockets are ranked 760th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, United ended up a good deal behind Wellsville on Friday and lost 56-40.

Columbiana's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points over those games. As for United, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Everything came up roses for Columbiana against United in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 63-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Columbiana since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
