Volleyball Game Preview: Bridge City Cardinals vs. Central Heights Blue Devils

The Bridge City Cardinals will square off against the Central Heights Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Bridge City sitting on three straight victories and Central Heights on 11.

Bridge City barely beat Little Cypress-Mauriceville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears on Friday.

One reason for the win was Bridge City's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Central Heights made easy work of Diboll on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Central Heights' got stronger as the match went on, holding Diboll to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Bridge City's victory bumped their record up to 32-11. As for Central Heights, their win bumped their record up to 37-6.
