Fort Plain hadn't done well against Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Fort Plain Hilltoppers rang in the new year with a 53-42 victory over the Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Golden Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hilltoppers.

Dylan Keane was his usual excellent self, putting up 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon VanGorder, who posted 12 points.

Fort Plain has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.
