Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the McLane Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for McLane, their win bumped their record up to 13-17.

Looking ahead, Central will be playing at home against Madera South at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McLane, they will head out to square off against Torres at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Toros will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight.
