Basketball Recap: Northview Finds Playoff Glory Versus Edgewood

Northview had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Edgewood Mustangs by a score of 43-36 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Brynlee Clarke was her usual excellent self, going 8 of 12 en route to 23 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Carlee Schrader was another key player, putting up eight points along with eight boards and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why Edgewood lost, don't look at Macey Crider. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 15 on her way to 17 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Davis, who scored six points and five boards.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Edgewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Northview has already played their next game, a 48-34 win against Cascade on the 7th. Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
