While Eureka put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Peoria. The Hornets put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 15-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Eureka pushed their record up to 12-13 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Peoria, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eureka will take on Bloomington Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Saints will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peoria, they will square off against Normal West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
