Basketball Recap: Alba-Golden Takes a Loss

Alba-Golden was the 86-30 winner over Fruitvale when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Alba-Golden Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 33-32 to the Fruitvale Bobcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alba-Golden's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-11. As for Fruitvale, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Alba-Golden Panthers take on the Cross Roads Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fruitvale, they will head out to face off against Martins Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
