Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Braedon Canuteson and Daniel Nason Lead Master's Hand Christian to Victory

Master's Hand Christian waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 41-28 victory over the Life Christian Academy Lions. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 50-37 victory back in January.

Master's Hand Christian was led to victory by Daniel Nason and Braedon Canuteson. Nason went 6-for-10 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, while Canuteson posted five points along with 12 boards and three steals. Canuteson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cade Craig, who put up six points.

Master's Hand Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.

Master's Hand Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Life Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

As of now, neither Master's Hand Christian nor Life Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
