Baseball Recap: Fleming Island Falls Short of Columbia in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fleming Island can now relate to. They fell just short of the Columbia Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Fleming Island saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Reilly, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Fleming Island's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Columbia, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

As of now, neither Fleming Island nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
