Volleyball Recap: Jackson Christian Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Jackson Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame's loss came despite strong showings from Aniyah Brown and Karley Nutz. Brown had nine digs, five aces, and one block, while Nutz had 14 digs and one assist.

Jackson Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Notre Dame, they now have a losing record of 15-16.

Coming up, Jackson Christian will square off against Tipton Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
