Barnesville is a perfect 7-0 against Shenandoah since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Shamrocks will head out to square off against the Zeps at 9:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Barnesville fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Monroe Central on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Seminoles by a score of 4-3. The Shamrocks' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Shenandoah's offense. They came up short against Caldwell on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The Zeps have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Barnesville's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Shenandoah, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-20.

Everything went Barnesville's way against Shenandoah in their previous meeting back in April, as Barnesville made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Shamrocks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
