James Clemens came tearing into Friday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Sparkman Senators get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. For the Jets, this counts as revenge for the 10-7 win the Senators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Not much got past Tyler Lewis, who gave up just four hits to keep Sparkman off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Trip Morgan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hudson Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

James Clemens pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.
