Baseball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Niskayuna

Niskayuna won the last time they faced Scotia-Glenville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Silver Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tartans 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Silver Warriors.

Niskayuna pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Scotia-Glenville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Niskayuna will welcome La Salle Institute at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Cadets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Silver Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Scotia-Glenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
