Football Recap: Joliet Catholic Takes a Loss

Joliet Catholic lost a heartbreaker to Nazareth Academy when they met back in September of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Hilltoppers were dealt a 48-21 loss at the hands of the Roadrunners. The defeat continues a trend for the Hilltoppers in their meetings with the Roadrunners: they've now lost eight in a row.

Joliet Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Nazareth Academy, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Joliet Catholic will host Niles Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nazareth Academy, they will face off against St. Rita at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
