Softball Recap: Grove City Takes a Loss

Grove City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-0 to the Central Crossing Comets. The game marked the first time this season in which the Greyhounds were not able to get on the board.

Grove City's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Central Crossing, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Grove City will welcome New Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Greyhounds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Central Crossing, they will square off against Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
