Basketball Recap: Cranston East Takes a Loss

Cranston East lost against Rogers back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cranston East Thunderbolts took a 42-24 bruising from the Rogers Vikings. The Thunderbolts' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Cranston East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Rogers, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Cranston East will take on Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cumberland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cranston East surely won't give up without a fight. Rogers has already played their next contest (against Lincoln), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
